Having worked as a portrait photographer and a performer for over ten years, storytelling is at the heart of what I do. Curiosity and appreciation for film’s capacity to tell stories in a way that is artful, timeless & true, led me to edit for the artists in this medium.
I have always adored the anticipation and joy of poring through photos at the end of a shoot. now, as an editor, I love opening a fresh catalog that’s bursting with beauty, emotion and narrative. Working with passionate, skilled photographers is a gift and I’m proud to care for every image with the same attention to detail as the artist who first captured it.
My Approach
In a world where grind and productivity are often revered, I believe wholeheartedly in the need to slow down and be conscious of how we choose to spend our time. with this in mind, SHAH STUDIO was founded; helping artists discover more time in their lives where creativity, stillness and inspiration can all thrive.
I appreciate how life-affirming it is to do a job that you love, where you know, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. However, that doesn’t always mean you love every part of the process, or that it’s all equally fulfilling. This is where I step in, at a point where energy and enthusiasm can wane, I take over what can often be a repetitive and time-consuming chapter of the creative process. My ethos encourages open and clear communication, allowing me to efficiently learn your aesthetic whilst ultimately saving you time and energy on the final edit.
